“The feare of the Lord is the beginning of wisedome: and the knowledge of the holy is vnderstanding.”
King James Version (KJV)
7. He that reproueth a scorner, getteth to himselfe shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man, getteth himselfe a blot. 8. Reproue not a scorner, lest hee hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and hee will loue thee. 9. Giue instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a iust man, and he will increase in learning. 10. The feare of the Lord is the beginning of wisedome: and the knowledge of the holy is vnderstanding. 11. For by me thy dayes shall be multiplied: and the yeeres of thy life shalbe increased. 12. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thy selfe: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt beare it. 13. ¶ A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, & knoweth nothing.
